Director of Business Administrationmspillmanstjosephplacentia.orgMichael joined the St. Joseph Pastoral Staff in 2012 transitioning from a career in real estate. Michael began his tenure as the Business Manager for the Church, but his role expanded overtime to become part of the Senior Leadership team as the Director of Business Administration for both the Church and School.
Michael is orginally from Rochester, New York, and although he still calls it "home," he has lived in Orange County for over 30 years. Michael was confirmed at St. Martin De Porres in Yorba Linda, graduated from El Dorado High School, and has been a Parishioner at St. Joseph's since 2002.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership from Vanugard University of Southern California. Michael held management positions with Tarbell, Realtors, and Coldwell Banker Beachside Realtors prior to joining the staff at St. Joseph's.
Michael married Allison in 2004 and they are raising two amazing boys Zachary and Patrick. Both boys attend St. Jeanne De Lestonnac school in Tustin where Allison is the Junior High Science Teacher and MIddle School Team Leader. Michael actively coaches baseball for Placentia Pony, and can often be found with the boys at one of Placentia's ball parks.
As both a Parishioner and Pastoral Staff Member, Michael uses his Catholic foundation and business acumen to bring best practices to the operations of our Parish. As a steward of the parishes temporal goods, Michaels approach is one of transparency, planning, and prayerful decision making. Michael is proud to be part of the staff at St. Joseph's.
