Director of Evangelization

My name is Claudia Mercado, I was born in Los Angeles, moved to Orange County in 1976 and have resided here since then mostly in Northern Orange County. I am a lifelong Catholic and have been married to my husband Michael for 23 years and we have two children. I previously worked for the public school system for 29 years before beginning to serve at St Martin de Porres in 2022 as the Director of Faith Formation. My family and I have been volunteers in all levels of Faith Formation for many years. It is an honor and a pleasure to be your new Director of Evangelization here at St Joseph’s and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and your families as we journey together as one family in Christ.
