What is GEMS-Middle School Youth Ministry?
 
Middle School Youth Ministry is intented for early adolescents in grades sixth, seventh and eighth. MSYM is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of our youth. 

At this age, middle school youth are introduced to good and bad behaviors as well as positive and negative ideas. Many of the morals, values and beliefs that they have been taught are now questioned and challenged. As young adolescents begin to figure out who they are and what they believe, it is necessary to have a solid foundation for them to grow with.

As a Catholic Community, we are going to give our middle school youth formation on the following topics: Faith Life, Spiritual Wellness, a Mercy Workshop, and Encounter Nights/Service of our Parish community. 
 
Faith Formation is evergrowing and it is important to create an environment that allows for our youth to learn, engage, grow, and live out the Gospel. As a welcoming inclusive community we strive to inspire and lead our youth and their families into an everygrowing relationship with Our Lord. 
 
Journey is a Class that will meet weekly for our youth that are in the second year of preparation for Sacraments.
