th. They participate in the Baptism Team Ministry, have served as Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, including the sick and homebound, for 30 years and are Cursillo Members. They are past members of FUTURE (a family based group at St. Joseph Church). They have also served on the Pastoral Council, assisted with Generations of Faith, and have made a marriage encounter. Gene is very active in the First Friday Friars and is a Director in the local council of the Knights of Columbus. Also, the family participates in the St. Joseph Parish GIFT Program and Bible Study. The Chronik Family leads by example, attending Mass weekly and actively participating at the Mass.
The Knights of Columbus have always been interested in the development of strong, vibrant families. In support of this philosophy and to create an even greater awareness of our many fine Catholic families, the Supreme Council instituted the “Family of the Month” Program in 1978. Since that time the “Family of the Month” Program has grown to be one of the Order’s most successful. St. Joseph Council started the Program to recognize and honor the outstanding Catholic families in our parish.
